Bard Fae The Building Site - Freedom Of Speech

When Mark Thomson came to Valleyfield on Thursday 2nd. of April we had a great time. This guy is very inspiring and he makes you want to write poems and stories. Mark performed a few of his poems of by heart and he puts everything in to his readings; he would make a great actor. There was a few students and other visitors on the day all having a chance to get their work down on paper when Mark did his work shop.

Thank you to Lucy for organising this great event, all credit to her for having an idea and sticking her neck out to make it happen. There was lots of lovely food and refreshments on hand and child care and transport made available.

Mark Thomson is a published Poet and has a book of Poems titled "Bard Fae The Building site" where his poems are written in his native Dundonian tongue.
